Currie Ford 9-inch replica housings are a direct bolt-in replacement for 1967-1970 Mustang and Cougar factory 8-inch or 9-inch housings and will accept the original 9-inch 28-spline third member, axles and wheel bearings as well as the OE brake components. If upgrading from an 8-inch rearend (typically the case), a new 9-inch 28-spline third member will be required to complete the installation
